New Penny Café is the brain child of Laura Hansen, owner of Saddle Mountain Brewing company and Brittany and Deni, owners of Enroute Coffee and Tea House. Brittany and Deni met Laura when their current coffee shop, located in Goodyear, couldn’t produce enough ice for the volume they had. Laura who was their next door neighbor graciously opened their door for them to borrow ice. The friendship took off from there!

Avondale reached out to them about opening a concept in their BLVD district and the three knew they couldn’t pass up this opportunity to expand their portfolio. That is how New Penny Café came to life!
